Registered Nurse House Supervisor is responsible to provide safe and effective nursing care to all patients utilizing the nursing process. The Registered Nurse House Supervisor also is responsible for the direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care hospital wide. Coordinate all hospital activities in the absence of Department Directors. The Registered Nurse House Supervisor functions as a direct liaison between the physician, hospital staff, and community in regard to the coordination and appropriateness of acute hospital admissions.
Qualifications
Minimum: Graduate of accredited School of Nursing. Three to five years of Nursing Practice with the progressive & proven management and leadership experience.
Preferred: Bachelor degree of Nursing.
Other Qualifications: Successful completion of WBMC yearly competencies specific to unit.
Required Certifications/Licenses: Active Florida RN license, ACLS, & BLS required at hire. PALS required within 90 days.
Two years clinical and one year supervision experience. ED or ICU preferred
